We are a company who have been involved in the sports turf industry for over 18 years. Our specialist areas include golf, drainage, irrigation, Hydrowick, paths and turf renovation and replacement. We also undertake maintenance on artificial turf and have a dedicated lawns and landscaping division.

Turf and Drainage have a core staff of approx. 22 people and we increase this during our busy seasons so that we have the right mix of people to complete your work.

Turf and drainage currently have 10 tractors, loaders, diggers and both small and large trucks as well as approx. 40 different implements. This means no matter the task we can have the right machines available to complete your work. All of our tractors have turf tyres so we protect your site while working.

We are a Sitesafe Gold member and also hold Totika/prequal certification. We also ensure that our staff have regular training on machines and and hold the relevant certifications across all aspects of our business. Allof our team have also completed police vetting processes as we complete work on many education sites

Our team includes an ex-golf superintendent with 25 years experience, highly experienced civil workers and machine operators who can advise on any aspects. We also work closely with our suppliers to ensure you have the best possible advice and solutions presented to you.

Hydrowick is designed for all natural sports surfaces and is a low impact drainage solution. On golf courses and sports fields you can generally have it installed and be playing the next day.

Turf and Drainage are the only supplier and installer in NZ, the system requires specific machinery and extensive specialized training to operate correctly. All future install sites are soil tested to ensure maximum efficiency and effectiveness post installation.

Yes just for the specific area being installed at, and you can usually open it again the next day. There is limited requirement for any remediation after the installation as well and our staff will go through this with you depending on the site.
